Before You Start

A school PAC will contact you about partnering with their school. They will provide details on where and when to deliver meals. Once you have this information, follow the steps below to get set up on the platform.

Getting Started

Download the App

Download PACmeLunch from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The same app works for parents, restaurants, and schools.

Create Your Restaurant Account

Sign up with your email, then complete Stripe Connect onboarding to enable payments. This verifies your business and sets up direct deposits.

Set Up Your Menu

Create combos (meal options) with names, descriptions, and prices. Set which days each item is available and sync your calendar with the school schedule.

Receive Orders & Get Paid

View daily orders in the Kitchen Orders tab. Prepare meals, mark them ready, and deliver to school. Payment transfers daily to your bank account.

When do I receive payment?

Payments are transferred daily via Stripe Connect after orders are delivered. Funds typically arrive in your bank account within 2 business days.

How far in advance do I see orders?

Parents typically order days or weeks ahead. You'll see all orders for a given day as they come in, with a clear cutoff time before delivery day.

Who handles delivery to the school?

Restaurants are responsible for delivering orders to the school at the agreed time (usually before lunch). Most restaurants find this works well during their slower morning prep time.

What if an order needs to be cancelled?

Parents can cancel orders before the cutoff time for a full refund. After cutoff, our admin team handles any cancellations and coordinates refunds.

Do I need any special equipment?

Just a smartphone or tablet to view orders. For delivery, standard food-safe containers and bags work great. Many restaurants use their existing takeout supplies.

What about allergen information?

You're responsible for providing accurate ingredient and allergen information in the app. Parents rely on this to make safe choices for their children.
